Missionaries who serve in a hot climate country can now relax a little with some air conditioning. According to Techcrunch.com, a Tokyo-based accessory maker called Thanko has created and made a new gadget to help cool off during those hot days inside or outside of the office.
They created the gadget that you can connect from you neck tie that has a mini fan on it and it is powered by a USB. There are two ways into plugging into electricity: first you can directly connect it to a computer or whatever device that has a USB connection; and you can plug the battery unit and charge it so you can take it wherever you seem deem to go when the heat is at it's worse.
This device weighs about 28 grams and is a miracle gadget to the heat haters. Thanko will be selling the USB necktie clip cooler only on their online store at $35 dollars a pop, but maybe later it will actually come to the Japanese Trend Shop in the states.
One would think how many missionaries could this necktie clip cooler save during those dreadful summer days or the glazing heat waves that they endure during the afternoon hours of the day proselyting and searching for new investigators. Maybe it would lessen the anguish of the burning sun.
